As always, and I’ve been on many trips with Countryside India within India and abroad over the past many years , this one was just as thoughtfully and interestingly planned. Right from landing in and drop-off at Srinagar airport and everything in between over the week was impeccable. Besides daily sightings from the Drenmo Lodge and the Malem hill, a couple of extremely interesting and educative day trips added to the whole experience. The stay at Drenmo Lodge was special with an excellent team looking after us in a cosy, well-appointed space with all amenities and excellent cuisine that almost turned us into 🐻’s! Seema our tour leader from Countryside India and Muzzamil and his team at the Lodge ensured that we had the ultimate experience at an altitude of 3,200 mts.
