These treks are ideal for adults and children above a minimum age of 10 and above, and are very easy. These treks are good for people doing treks for the first time. We recommend such treks for families since it can be a good way to introduce children to the outdoors. These treks involve walking on easy well-defined trails for 3-5 days with daily walking duration of 3-4 hrs. Net height gain on most of the days would be less than 500m, with maximum altitude not exceeding 3500m. Basic physical fitness is a must. Tours may have a mix of various other adventure activities

Sandakphu Winter Trek - A walk above the clouds Countryside and Team put together an amazing trip in a challenging environment. My wife Rita, 9 year old son Agastya and I had a wonderful experience on the trek. 5 days, 40Km, 12000 feet and temperatures dipping to -10C with a 9 year old kid was only possible due to the meticulous planning and attention to detail by Milind Bhide and his Countryside Team. The fact that all contingencies were covered for made it an even more enjoyable experience for all of us. Our stay at an amazingly beautiful tea estate in Chamong at the end of the trek was the cherry on the cake. Look forward to our next trip with Countryside and highly recommend it anyone planning an adventure trip.

Wonderful experience. first timers as well as seasoned trekkers must experience the incredible hospitality w countryside I had been on a trek to Sandekhpu. This was my first experience on such a long trek; but never felt like so on the entire trek. Hospitality of Milind and Sema ensured that each of us had a homely feeling . The stay; the walk; the food ; your health everything was well taken care of and I always felt it was a holiday with a little bit of a walk everyday.

I went for the Sandakphu trek with Countryside and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. We were well looked after by Trip leaders Milind Bhide and Kiran Jadhav. They ensured our comfort every step of the way and were most encouraging to first time trekkers. We were one tight knit group and have forged lasting friendships while on the trek. I have trekked with Countryside before and would recommend them for any outdoor adventure holiday without hesitation. Thank you Countryside for yet another unforgettable experience.
