March – May & September – November

Our tour starts from Amman. We explore the Dead Sea the world’s most amazing place, the Jordan Rift Valley is a dramatic, beautiful landscape, which at the Dead Sea, is over 400m/1312 ft. below sea level. From here we visit Wadi Numeira, a small wadi that starts in one of the multiple springs coming from Karak, running down to the Dead Sea.

Petra, the world wonder, is without a doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled here more than 2000 years ago.

Aqaba is a year-round resort that has something for everyone, with a wide range of activities for all age groups, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, jet-skiing and many more. This seaside city is blessed with great weather throughout the year; hot and breezy in the summer, warm and pleasant in the winter. Of special interest among the ancient and medieval archaeological sites are the newly discovered site of what is thought to be the oldest church in the world, the early Islamic city called Ayla, a Mamluk Fort and a very fine museum at the house of Sharif Hussein bin Ali, the great grand-father of King Abdullah II.

The lowest point on the face of the earth, this vast stretch of water receives a number of incoming rivers, including the River Jordan. Once the waters reach the Dead Sea they are land-locked and have nowhere to go, so they evaporate, leaving behind a dense, rich, cocktail of salts and minerals that supply industry, agriculture and medicine with some of its finest products. The Dead Sea is flanked by mountains to the east and the rolling hills of Jerusalem to the west, giving it an almost other-worldly beauty.

This one is running down to the Potash factory on the south of the Dead Sea. Its entrance from the Dead Sea is called the Water Petra, due to its shape looking like a massive gate.
