Throughout Egypt, days are commonly warm or hot, and nights are cool. Egypt has only two seasons: a mild winter from November to April and a hot summer from May to October. The only differences between the seasons are variations in daytime temperatures and changes in prevailing winds

The best time to visit Egypt is from October to April, when temperatures are at their most pleasant. However, December and Januaryconstitute peak tourist season, and iconic sights like the Pyramids of Giza, the Temples of Luxor, and Abu Simbel can get crowded.

It is important to purchase a comprehensive insurance policy against illness, hospitalization, flight delays, loss of luggage, cancellations and amendments due to weather conditions, political disturbances or natural calamities as well as emergency helicopter evacuation (if available), etc.

In case you decide to buy any insurance policy in your home country, please ensure that the policy covers cashless evacuation and covers you for Adventure activities.

Countryside India can assist you with the insurance policy if you so wish.

American Express is less commonly accepted but still useful in higher-end facilities. Diner’s Club is rarely accepted in Egypt.
