    1. Day 1 Srinagar - Sonmarg (2730m; 82km 2.5 – 3hrs)

      Upon arrival in Srinagar, we will drive to Sonmarg. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel in Sonmarg.

    2. Day 2 Sonmarg – Kargil (2676m; 121km; 3hrs)

      After breakfast, we will depart for Kargil via Zojila Pass. En route, we will visit Kargil War Memorial. Overnight stay will be in Kargil.

    3. Day 3 Kargil - Rangdum (3657m; 130km; 4hrs)

      After breakfast, we will proceed to Rangdum. En route, we will see the Parkachik glacier viewpoint and Rangdum Monastery. Overnight stay will be at a camp/guesthouse in Rangdum.

    4. Day 4 Rangdum- Padum (3669m; 105km; 2.5hrs)

      En route, we will visit Drang Drung Glacier and Sani Monastery. Overnight stay will be at Padum.

    5. Day 5 Explore Padum

      We will explore the monasteries around Padum, and the evening will be free for visiting the small market and town of Padum. Overnight stay will be in Padum.

    6. Day 6 Padum – Phugtal – Purne (3950m; 45km; 2hrs; 5km one way trek )

      After breakfast, we will head to Phugtal and visit the monastery there. Overnight stay will be at Purne.

    7. Day 7 Purne –Solang (2560m; 150km; 6hrs)

      On the last day of our drive out of the Zanskar valley, we will start early in the morning to cross the waters at Lakhanga and climb over the Shingo la 5100 m before entering Lahul Valley in Himachal Pradesh. We will drive through Atal Tunnel into the green Solang Valley. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Solang.

    8. Day 8 Solang - Chandigarh (350m; 285; 6 – 7hrs)

      After breakfast, we will drive to Chandigarh. We will stay and relax in Chandigarh.

    9. Day 9 Final departure.

    Accommodations and Food
    • In a hotel/deluxe campsite on twin-sharing basis.

    This tour is recommended for people with a good level of physical fitness. We do not recommend this tour to people with chronic problems such as epilepsy, and those related to blood pressure, heart issues, or diabetes.

    Day temperatures average between 20°C – 25°C, and night temperatures can average between 10°C – 15°C. At Pangong Tso & Tso Moriri, night temperatures can drop to below 5°C. However, the temperatures would vary a lot depending on the season and altitude.

    The permits to visit Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Pangong Tso, and Chushul are processed once you are in Leh. It’s mandatory that all participants carry a valid photo ID (such as a Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhar Card) for issuance of permits, along with 02 passport-size photographs. For accompanying children above 12 years old (who do not have a Passport or Aadhar Card), it’s mandatory to carry the School ID Card/College ID Card along with 02 passport-size photographs.
