  1. Day 1 Arrival in Sao Paulo

    Arrival in São Paulo International Airport, meet and transfer from the Airport to the hotel – private service with English speaking guide. Overnight stay at hotel in São Paulo.

  3. Day 3 Santiago Sightseeing - City Tour with San Cristobal Hill (Including Gondola)

    Santiago de Chile was founded in 1541 by the Spanish Conquistador Pedro de Valdivia who was sent by the conqueror of the Incas, Pizzaro, to establish a new capital in the fast growing Spanish Empire in the New World. Much of the core layout as designed by the master builder Pedro de Gamboa remains to this day. The tour starts from the Funicular de Santiago (Gondola), which provides a stunning and panoramic view over the city from the top of San Cristobal Hill. You then travel to the heart of the city and Plaza de Armas the spot from where the city has grown throughout the centuries. Each Latin city has a plaza de Armas as when cities were founded the center was also were the armory and military base was established – hence the name Plaza de Armas (Plaza of Arms). Visit some of the more important buildings such as the Cathedral, the City Council, the Central Post Office and the National Historical Museum. Continue to the Presidential Palace “La Moneda”; the current seat of the government. You will wander on the streets that were once elegant at the beginning of the 19th century and now are a commercial center. You will also visit some the original colonial neighborhoods such as Concha y Toro Square. Characterized by its cobbled streets and old mansions that reflect the elegance and richness of the early twentieth century the neighborhood grew to prominence between 1870 and 1876 with the influx of wealth as a result of mining and the discovery of Silver. Many Chileans achieved great wealth, including Enrique Concha y Toro founder of the famed winery. Your day finishes with a tour of a local craft store. On offer are many traditional items that will make the perfect gift, or souvenir including typical jewelry made from Lapis lazuli, which is a semiprecious blue stone found only in Chile and Afghanistan.   4. Day 4 Santiago - Viña Del Mar & Valparaiso (Full Day Tour)

    Buffet breakfast. Your tour will depart from Santiago to the coastline located 120 kilometers of Santiago, passing through the fertile “Curacaví and Casablanca Valleys”, its vineyards, fruit plantations and forest reserves. During the route, you will visit two important cities, “Viña del Mar”, the main resort of Chile and “Valparaíso”, a port city founded in the XVI century and declared “World heritage by UNESCO”. The promenade includes a panoramic tour by the emblematic places of Valparaíso, such as “National Congress”, “O’Higgins Park”, “Italia Park”, “Victoria Square”, “Sotomayor Square” and “Prat” dock located in the same port. You will then visit the Museum of the famous Chilean poet and writer and Nobel prize-winning in Literature (1971), Pablo Neruda named “Casa Museo La Sebastiana”. In the house, collections of old and navy maps and other paintings are kept. There are many other relics of the port and strange objects, such as music boxes and an antique carved wooden carousel horse. You will then walk through the wonderful viewpoints “Atkinson” and “Gervasoni” located in the most important hills of Valparaíso, “Cerro Alegre” and “Cerro Concepción”. You will also use its old and picturesque cable cars, the trolleybuses, which are still connecting this city. You will continue this beautiful route in front of the sea to arrive at the city of Viña del Mar, which is very well-known as the “Garden City”, fine. You will then walk past the picturesque “Flower Clock” and go through the “Peru Avenue” with its traditional “Casino” and fine “Hotel Del Mar”, which is the first of Chile, founded in 1930. Finally, you will be able to see and take a picture of an authentic Moai from the Easter Island, located on the outside of the important “Museum of Paleontology and Anthropology Fonck”.   5. Day 5 Fly from Santiago – Calama; Transfer to San Pedro; Half day Moon Valley & Death Valley Trip with Cocktail Included

    In the afternoon you will look at one of the most expected moments, the sunset, and the best place to appreciate it is the “Cordillera de la Sal”, with its Moon and Death Valleys, which are conformations of salt and clay product of the mineralogical folding occurred millions of years ago and originated small mountains of capricious and sculptural forms that during sunset resemble a moon landscape.   6. Day 6 San Pedro de Atacama – Full day Atacama Salt Flat & Altiplanics Lagoons with Lunch in Local House

    Your excursion will begin with a tour through the vast plain area, allowing you to reach the “Gran Salar de Atacama”, white and rough surface where shallow lagoons are home for a large number of flamingos that choose this water as a nesting place, allowing you to observe these wonderful birds. After watching this wonderful landscape and natural phenomenon, you will continue your trip to the Altiplanic Lagoons. These lagoons, which are within 4,500 miles, are of great beauty. In its landscapes you can see wonderful Andean varied shades of colors. In addition, its flora and fauna are unique because it is found only in protected areas and in this height. The height allows you to be very close to mountains and volcanoes, some of which are considered sacred and inspired beautiful legends of the Atacama Desert. On the way is the town of Socaire, where they have endured over time the ancestral traditions of their inhabitants, shepherds or farmers who grow the ”Pachamama” using the old system of Andean terraces which allows them to generate certain crops.   7. Day 7 Transfer from San Pedro - Hito Cajón (Bolivia); Hito Cajón – Coloured Lagoons (REA) – Villamar

    Transfer from San Pedro to Hito Cajon (Bolivia) (private service with English Speaking Guide). 10:00 am pick up in the Bolivian border of Hito Cajon to enter the REA Reserve, visiting; Green lagoon in the foothills of Licancabur Mountain, the high desert in Pampas de Dali, Chalviri lagoon and the hot springs of Polques and geysers Sol de Mañana. Then Red lagoon, declared a RAMSAR site due to the nesting of over 30,000 Andean flamingos (3 hours) to finally reach Villamar (2 hours). Dinner and overnight stay at Mallku Cueva Hotel in Villamar.

  8. Day 8 Villamar – Colchani

    Buffet breakfast. Continue across Valle de Los Sapos (Frog Valley) this is a famous rock formation due to the wind erosion, also going through the villages of Alota and Culpina K and the colonial church of San Cristobal (the one that has been moved from its original location), then the Trains Cemetery to finally reach Colchani village on the shores on Uyuni salt flats. Dinner and overnight stay at Palacio de Sal Hotel in Cochani.

  9. Day 9 Colchani – Uyuni Salt Flat Full Day – Uyuni Village; Fly from Uyuni - La Paz

    Buffet breakfast. Departure to The Great Salt Flats from Colchani village, it is the best place to observe the methods of salt extraction, continue to the Incahuasi Island (better known as Fish Island); it is an oasis with a unique and isolated ecosystem that is populated by giant cacti up to 10 meters high. Continue the journey travelling north to visit the pre-Columbian Pucara de Ayque fort and the nearby Chullpares on the foothills of Thunupa volcano, then east to Uyuni village. Transfer to the airport of Uyuni. Flight from Uyuni – La Paz (not included). Transfer from Airport to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in La Paz.

  10. Day 10 La Paz – Full Day City Tour

    Breakfast. City tour of La Paz, this marvellous city is located in a valley at the foothills of the Andes Range, situated at 3632m/11,942 ft. above sea level. The tour takes us through Gold, Murillo and Costumbrista museums; also a visit to the viewpoint ”Mirador de Killi Killi”, from where there is a magnificent view over La Paz. There will also be a visit to various street markets including a traditional market where traditional agricultural products from the highlands, such as quinoa, tunta, chuño (dehydrated potato) and oca (sweet tuber) are sold; the Witch Market, where locals buy supplies for ritual ceremonies like the Ch’alla and also offerings to the Pachamama (Mother Earth). Ride by cable car “Teleférico”, it’s a good choice to discover an excellent and beautiful view of La Paz. The tour passes through the modern, affluent residential area of the city before concluding in the Valley of the Moon, where a clay mountain has been impressively shaped by erosion.   11. Day 11 La Paz – Tiwanaku ruins – Desaguadero – Puno (Peru)

    Tiwanaku is 1.5 hrs drive from La Paz, throughout which the highlands are passed and the Aymaran way of life can be seen. Tiwanaku dating back to 300 AD – 1200 AD, was one of the most important pre-Inca civilizations and considered to be among the most developed at the time. The main constructions visited during this tour are: the Kalasasaya temple and the Gate of the Sun constructed out of stone, Ponce and Fraile monoliths; the Akapana pyramid and the semi-underground temple. Continue to Guaqui at the shore of Lake Titicaca and then to Desaguadero (1 hour), a village on the border with Peru.

  12. Day 12 Puno - Taquile & Uros Island

    Buffet breakfast.

    The tour will begin with the arrival at Huayllano, a port of Taquile Island, where the community greets tourists very kindly and keep their old style traditions and customs. You will be invited to visit the house of a local family to engage in some of their activities with them, like weaving and afterwards, you will enjoy a delicious lunch made from fresh local products.

    Next, you will have the chance to walk to the town square and then board the boat and sail to Uros Islands. These islands are built out of layers of totora and are used as housing and trade centers for the native Uros. They travel on handcrafted rafts and colorful clothing. The islanders are skilled craftspeople and express in each piece astonishing techniques developed by their ancestors for centuries. Overnight stay at hotel in Puno.

    Half Day City Tour

    Visit the impressive colonial city built over the foundations of Incan palaces, going across the San Blas neighborhood —cradle of artists— and the Twelve Angles stone on Hatun Rumiyoq street; the Korikancha or Temple of the Sun, where we could appreciate the so fine craft work the Incas made on stone; and the Cathedral, with its delicate craft works on carved wood and impressive altars.

  14. Day 14 Cusco - Full Day Tour to Pisac Market / Ollantaytambo / Maras & Moray

    A full day excursion to enjoy some highlights in Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It starts by a visit to the colorful market of Pisac, where you can appreciate a blend of color, traditional articrafts, and local people. Then, the tour goes on to Ollantaytambo, where you will enjoy the panoramic view of the most ancient and continuously occupied village in the American continent, and visit the amazing Ollantaytambo Fortress, built by Inca Pachacutec in the 16th century. Then, the excursion continues to the Maras salt mines, which were constructed in the slope of a mountain in Pre-Incan times. Lastly, we will go to the huge agricultural terraces of Moray, built in natural holes in circular form, and used as a botanical lab by the Incas. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel in Cusco.

  15. Day 15 Cusco - Full Day Excursion to Machu Picchu with Vistadome Train

    Awaiting you today is by far and away one of the high points in world tourism: Machu Picchu. Your adventure starts on a train ride to the city of Aguas Calientes, where you will disembark and then board a bus that drives you to the actual Machu Picchu archaeological site, where you will definitely have an experience you will never forget. You will discover this new Wonder of the World and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site; afterwards, there is some free time for you to explore the site on your own, to relax or to meditate. At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch at a local restaurant and, later on, board the train for your return trip; you will stop at the train station indicated in your ticket, where you will be picked up and taken back to your lodgings. Overnight stay at hotel in Cusco.

  16. Day 16 Fly from Cusco – Puerto Maldonado; Twilight River Excursion

    Start your journey arriving to Puerto Maldonado, where our staff will welcome you and provide the necessary information for your stay. Navigate by outboard motorized canoe along the Madre de Dios River to Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción for approximately 25 minutes. Enjoy Lunch with organic ingredients and native flavors. After lunch, take a walk through Concepcion Trails, inside property nature trails, where you will discover and learn about primary and secondary rainforest, its components, uses, transformations by the human being, and its relevance for the world. At dusk navigate by outboard motorized canoe, at the Twilight River excursion. By sailing on the Madre de Dios River, you will learn about its ecosystem, Amazonian creeks, nocturnal animals’ behavior, and the southern constellations. In the evening enjoy a nice Dinner in the Casa Grande´s dining room. Dinner and overnight stay at the select lodge in Puerto Maldonado.

  17. Day 17 Puerto Maldonado - Morning:- Trek in the Tambopata National Reserve towards Lake Sandoval; Post Lunch:- Inkaterra Canopy Walkway & Anaconda Walk; Night:- Hidden Rainforest Excursion

    New experiences are ahead and after taking a nutritious Buffet Breakfast, get ready for a long trek through terra firma into the Tambopata National Reserve towards Lake Sandoval. Here you will understand why Madre de Dios is called the biodiversity capital of Peru, while learning about the Reserve’s conservation efforts and the lake’s formation. Navigate by dugout canoe across this mirror-like oxbow lake that is home to the endangered Giant River Otter (Pteronurabrasiliensis), Blue and Yellow Macaw (Ara ararauna), Red Howler Monkey (Alouattaseniculus), Black Caiman (Melanosuchusniger), and one of the world’s biggest fresh water scaled fish, the Paiche (Arapaima gigas).

    Back to the lodge for Lunch, and later the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway & Anaconda Walk wait for you. Take a 20-minute ride by outboard motorized canoe to the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway Interpretation Center where you will learn about its construction and the conservation projects of ITA-Inkaterra Asociación (NGO). Ascend one of the two 98-foot towers (30 m.) and cross the 7 hanging bridges that connect the treetops at 91 ft. high (28 m). Enjoy the breathtaking vistas and get the chance to watch White-throated Toucans (Ramphastostucanus), Woodpeckers, Trogons, Squirrel Monkeys (Saimiriboliviensis) and the Three-toed Sloth (Choleopushoffmani). After descending keep on feeling the incredible primary rainforest energy going along the 200-meter wooden bridge over the swamps (aguajales). You will learn about the fauna and flora of this flooded ecosystem.

    At night get ready for an adventure during the Hidden Rainforest excursion, where you will explore the Amazon rainforest that gives way to nocturnal animals who display intriguing behavior patterns, and enhanced senses as adaptation mechanisms. Listen to nocturnal living nature sounds, and penetrate this hidden world. End up your day with a pleasant Dinner. Overnight stay at the select lodge in Puerto Maldonado.

  18. Day 18 Fly from Puerto Maldonado – Lima; Panoramic City Tour - Lima at Night

    After Buffet Breakfast, take a ride back to Puerto Maldonado by outboard motorized canoe. Arrive at the Butterfly House where you may wait for your flight to your next destination, while visiting this beautiful Butterfly House and learning about the fascinating transformation of these colorful insects, bred in our laboratory. At the proper time transfer from your hotel to the airport. Flight from Puerto Maldonado to Lima (not included). Arrival to Lima and transfer to your hotel.

    Transfer from Lima To Paracas (Pisco)

    You will be picked up at your hotel in Lima, drive south along the Pacific Coast to Pisco. Along this way, you will pass through the different types of desert and oasis, landscapes while your guide will introduce you to the new Peru coastal population as well as to the various vestiges of ancient civilizations.

    Overflight the Nazca Lines

    You will be transferred to the local airport for your flight over the incredible Nazca Lines, drawn on the pampas of the same name. You will see several figures of stylized plants and animals drawn in an enormous labyrinth of straight lines, trapezoids, triangles, and spirals scattered about the desert floor that has remained preserved for about 2000 years.

    Note: Remember to bring your original passport as only document required in the Nazca airport. The flight is subject to weather conditions in the area. Groups of passengers may be divided into different flights considering the maximum weight allowed on the plane as provided by law.

    Later on return to Lima and transfer to the airport to take your next flight.

  21. Day 21 Fly from Buenos Aires – El Calafate

  22. Day 22 El Calafate – Excursion to Fitz Roy & from De Los 3 Lagoon – Overlook Torre Hill

    Duration: 12 hrs approx. – Private Services with Guide

    We depart El Chalten on the Fitz Roy footpath. After about 20 minutes of ascent we arrive at the Valley of the Vueltas River viewpoint, a perfect example of the ”U” shape valley carved by the glaciations in Patagonia. After some more gentle climbing we arrive at the viewpoint of the Fitz Roy massif where we can appreciate in all their splendour the peaks of the Saint Exupery, Poincenot, Fitz Roy, Mermoz and Guillaumet.

    We continue for 2 hours on the flat, walking through beautiful lenga forests inhabited by countless varieties of birds that will accompany us with their song until we reach the campground R¡o Blanco. This is the base camp for the most adventurous climbers who will attempt to conquer these granite masses. We then climb 400m in about an hour until we arrive at Laguna de los Tres. On arriving at the highest point on the path, we are rewarded by the majestic views of Fitz Roy, the glacier de los Tres and its lagoon.  The grandeur of this location makes you feel very insignificant.

    From here we circle Laguna de los Tres and head towards the viewpoint of the Laguna Sucia and its glacier. Again, the breathtaking views are unforgettable. After a rest and a bite for lunch, we will start the descent and walk back to El Chalten and pass by Laguna Capri (a favourite spot for photographers).

  23. Day 23 El Calafate - Perito Moreno Glacier Tour (8 hrs); Nautical Safari Navigation (1 hr); Perito Moreno Glacier Tour - Fee Included

    Duration: 8 hrs approx. – Private Service with Guide.

    The Perito Moreno Glacier rises majestically 80 km away from El Calafate. This is one of the largest and the only advancing glacier in the world, as well as the biggest attraction at Los Glaciares National Park, a 600,000-hectare protected area covered by an ice mantle.

    We will start by penetrating the Patagonic Andean forest and make a first breathtaking stop at ”Curva de los Suspiros” (Curve of Sighs), where we will enjoy a first view of this incredible natural wonder. When we approach the glacier, we will walk down the wooden catwalks to approach the Glacier and admire from different panoramic points this wonderful creation of Mother Nature. We will be able to contemplate very closely when varied-sized ice blocks loosen and fall into the water with a great thunder becoming beautiful ice floes in the deep waters of the Lago Argentino. This day will be an unforgettable experience, a once in a lifetime delight.

    Nautical Safari Navigation

    Duration: 1 hr. approx. – Shared Service with Guide on board.

    This activity is an ideal complement to the Perito Moreno glacier tour. It will allow us to appreciate very closely this wonder of nature. We will sail out of Bajo de las Sombras Bay port, 7 km away from the glacierïs catwalks, down to the southern side of the glacier. On our way, we shall contemplate ice blocks falling off until reaching the southern point of Los Témpanos canal, until reaching the standing point 300 m away from the southern wall of the glacier, where we shall stop to admire its greatness.

    Perito Moreno Glacier Tour with Mini Trekking – (Optional)

    Duration: 10 hrs approx. – Private Service with Guide – Mini Trekking.

    Only 80 km away from El Calafate, at Los Glaciares National Park, rises the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier, the only glacier that is still growing. Starting at Bajo las Sombras Bay port, we will sail for 20 minutes to reach Los Témpanos canal and the southern wall of the glacier. In small groups, conducted by experienced guides, we will walk by the lakeshore to reach the glacier itself. Here we will put on crampons that will allow us to walk over the glacier. In an unforgettable 1-hour route, we will appreciate different ice formations, cracks, seracs, drains, and small pools. On our way back, we will cross the heavy Magellan forest, visit Canal de losT‚mpanos, and to stop at a glacier viewpoint.

    Iguazú National Park a total of 55,500 hectares— bears the name of the river serving as northern border, which means ”great waters” in the guaraní language. Surrounded by a lush subtropical rainforest, we will find the majestic Iguazú Waterfalls. Its water volume and more than 275 falls places it among the most important and spectacular waterfalls in the world. On different footbridges, we will visit the heart of the waterfalls, appreciating them from different angles. We will visit the lower circuit, and feel part of nature, refreshing ourselves with waterfall drizzle. On the upper circuit, we will stop at different viewpoints, and then reach the balcony at Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). No doubt, this is the most amazing of all falls: water falls down from 80 meters.

    With powerful boats, we shall bounce into the Lower Iguazu River Canyon and bordering the San Martín Island we shall reach the TresMosqueteros Fall. At this point we shall be able to see the falls of both the Argentine and Brazilian sides and the Garganta del Diablo.

    Finalizing this trip, we offer an unforgettable experience: baptism shower at the bottom of the San Martín waterfall, the hugest cascade any boat may endeavor. This excursion starts and concludes at the dock located in front of the San Martín Island.

    Difficulty: 100 meter staircase.
